动物发育在细胞学上依赖于各种细胞行为,包括细胞形变、增值、黏附、迁移和分化等。在多层调控机制的确保下,多种细胞行为协同进行,驱动组织形态变化,进而保证胚胎发育的顺利进行。本实验室以果蝇为主要模型,同时开发新型模式系统,通过遗传学、生化及分子生物学、组学等方法,结合显微成像追踪细胞动态行为、定量分析关键分子亚细胞定位和时空变化、数学建模等技术手段,探索动物发育的过程以及发育调控机制。
主要研究包括:
1.细胞周期、细胞形态与极性的调控机制及其与发育程序的偶联机理
2.Notch信号的调控机制
Lab of Cell and Tissue Dynamics
Metazoan development is the emergence of various cellular behaviors, including cell shape change, proliferation, adhesion, migration, and differentiation. These cellular behaviors are precisely regulated during development to drive tissue morphogenesis through the collective cell behaviors and, thus, successful embryogenesis. Using Drosophila and other animals as a model organism, we focus on cell and tissue dynamics to uncover the mechanisms driving tissue morphogenesis and embryonic development by addressing these key questions.
1. How are the cell cycle, cell shape and polarity controlled to coordinate the embryonic developmental programming?
2. How is Notch signaling regulated?
