本课题组围绕水生生物寄生虫,通过识别病原(分类学)、认知个性(宿主、寄生部位和生活史等病原信息)、解析发病特征(宿主状态和外界环境),做到“知己知彼”。
(1)物种本底信息库构建:在补充、完善和修订现有物种名录基础上,依靠现代生物学技术,开展物种多样性调查、DNA条形码库构建等研究,构建我国淡水寄生虫物种名录。
(2)寄生虫的基础生物学研究:部分寄生虫类群是研究真核生物细胞器功能及分子通路等的良好模式生物。通过摸索部分物种的人工感染或纯培养方法,建立稳定的实验室传代株系,以此为基础,借助基因组、转录组、mircoRNA等测序和分析等技术,揭示寄生生活各阶段未知的分子机理。
(3)流行病学研究: 聚焦常见寄生虫,刻画其在养殖系统中的生态角色,解析其与宿主、环境和生物因子的互作关系,利用高通量测序技术,解析优势种群的时空演化特征,以求通过生物操纵或改变物理环境等方法,建立“绿色防治方法”。
(4)诊断防治技术与方法:以绿色、安全和高效为目标,综合天然产物开发、老方新用和给药优化等策略,评估药物活性、探索作用机制、开发和筛选新型水产专用药物,建立有前瞻性的特色渔药研发平台。
