主要研究方向及成果：
主要从事海洋微生物生态学及海水养殖动物病原菌致病机理和病害防治研究。近年来主持国家863项目1项、国家自然科学基金项目4项、教育部新世纪优秀人才项目1项及教育部科学技术研究重点项目1项。领导团队迄今在国际主流刊物发表论文40余篇，出版专著2部: “海洋微生物学”（2007）；“海洋原核生物名称”（2008）。所主持成果曾获国家海洋局海洋创新成果奖二等奖（2010）。
