主要研究方向及成果：
主要从事海洋生物功能基因研究;发育、免疫与进化研究;味觉的分子机制与进化研究等。迄今在国内外主流刊物发表论文50余篇，参加编写专著2部。成果曾获山东省自然科学奖一等奖一项（第二位，2007年）；教育部自然科学奖二等奖一项（第二，2006年）；国家海洋局海洋创新成果一等奖一项（第五位，2004年）；山东省高等学校自然科学奖一等奖（第二位，2006年）；青岛市自然科学一等奖（第二位，2005年）。所指导研究生曾获“山东省优秀毕业研究生”荣誉。
Ph.D., Marine Biology, Ocean University of China (2003). Over 50 papers have been published in peer-reviewed international journal.
Research Interests:
1. The role of CD36 in fatty taste and immune response in zebrafish;
2. The role of CD36 and other fatty acids receptors in the molecular regulation of adipogenesis and obesity in zebrafish;
3. Evolution.
