    研究方向:

    1)藻类遗传学和遗传改良。围绕海带和养殖微藻开展经济性状的遗传基础解析和抗逆、抗病生理遗传基础研究,培育杂交海带、海带杂交品种和养殖微藻品种,为海藻养殖产业持续发展提供技术和材料保障。主要成果有杂交海带、海带杂交品种培育及种性维持策略研发;海带高密度连锁图谱绘制;藻基因组测序和抗逆生理遗传基础解析等。

    2)饵料藻-微生物互作。围绕主要水产饵料微藻与微藻、细菌、真菌、病毒等环境微生物间的共生、共栖和敌害关系,克服单种培养不足,提高生物质和高附加值物质的产量,促进水产养殖产业的持续发展。

    3)大型藻类-微生物互作。主要开展海带致病菌/致病因子及其致病机理、海带表面附生细菌多样性以及附生细菌间互作研究,为海带养殖业病害的防控提供理论依据。完成了海带白化病致病菌的分离、鉴定及其全基因组完成图的构建;光控海带致病菌致病机理的研究等。目前与澳大利亚和英国等本领域领军专家建立了长期、稳定的科研合作关系。

    4)真江蓠入侵的分子机制研究。与德国基尔Helmholtz洋研究中心的同行合作,从遗传学角度探寻入侵种真江蓠成功入侵的机制。

      

    (1) Algal genetics and genetic improvement studies focus on deciphering the genetic bases of the economic traits of kelps and microalgae and understanding the physiological and genetic bases of their stress- and disease-resistances, and breeding kelp hybrids with gametophyte clone seedling-raising method, elite kelp varieties through intra- and inter-species hybridizations and microalgal varieties through mutation. These trials should provide the technical and material supports to the sustainable development of marine algal cultivation. The major findings include the development of kelp hybrids, kelp varieties and feed microalgal varieties, maintaining strategies of their cultivating performances, construction of high-density linkage maps, genome sequencing of kelp and microalgae, decipherment of stress-resistance mechanisms among others.

     (2) Feed microalgae-microbes interactions analyze the mutualism, commensalism and parasitism among microalgae, bacteria, fungi and viruses, trying to overcome the shortages of cultivating single microalgal species, thus elevating the yields of biomass and high value-added materials and promoting the sustainable development of aquaculture industry. 

    (3) Interactions between algae and microorganisms focus on identification of pathogenic bacteria/virulence factors of commercially cultivated Saccharina japonica, understanding the virulence mechanisms of pathogens and deciphering the biodiversity of epiphytic bacteria and interaction mechanisms between pathogenic and beneficial bacteria. These results help to prevent and mitigate the disease outbreaks during the cultivation of S. japonica. So far, we have established a sustainable and long-term cooperation with the leading scientists from Australia and United Kingdom.

     (4) Genetic interpretation of invasive mechanisms of macroalga Agarophyton vermicullophyla tries to reveal the invasive process of this alga with genetic tools. We cooperate with leading expert from The Helmholtz Ocean Research Center, Kiel, Germany in this field.
